By now almost everyone has heard of HDTV, or high definition television and how great it is. Unlike other forms of television broadcasting, HDTV is broadcast digitally and gives us a much sharper, clearer, and life like picture. Those who already have it, love it and those who do not have it yet, want it.
HDTV first became introduced by Digital HDTV Grand Alliance, which is a group of television companies, in the 1990’s. The newer big screen televisions sometimes presented a problem with the clarity of a picture.
It seems that the problem was solved by the high definition television. However, unless the high definition television could receive a high definition signal, it did not improve the picture.
Since the HDTV signal has been developed, it is now offered by a multitude of companies. Satellite, cable, and phone companies had to get into the game, so to speak, of the high definition signal in order to compete with one another.
People who had purchased these new and higher priced televisions wanted the programming to go with them to make the television worth the investment. Who could blame them, these televisions, especially the first ones, were defiantly not cheap.
As the past several years went by, the availability of HDTV programming has vastly increased. Most companies are enlarging the number of HDTV channels available all the time.
The public continues to buy the televisions and the demand for more and more compatible programming continues to rise. DVDs and some video games are also being made using high definition.
The cost of the high definition televisions are finally beginning to drop in price a little bit, but they are still much more expensive that the older versions. Most of these televisions are designed in the style of a movie theatre, or wide screen, and many DVDs are only put out now using this format.
Some people like the wide screen versions better and some still prefer the full screen mode because of their older televisions.
There is defiantly no denying that the high definition picture is a big improvement over the older methods of broadcasting. Once you have ever view the difference between the pictures, you, like everyone else who has it, will not be satisfied until you have it too.
Sometimes it can just make you wonder how much better the quality of our home entertainment can get, but you can bet in the coming years they will probably think of a way to make even more improvements that we simply can not live without.

Either the two round prong or the two flat blade prong (similar to the US) are used in Thailand. Some places will have one or the other, and some places have plugs that accept both. Adaptors are cheap everywhere, buy one of each to be safe.

what makes a high bay fixture different from a low bay fixture when it comes to the hid lights?
I want to know what it is in the difference of the reflector size. what makes it a high bay from a low-bay?
It is the reflective and diffusion characteristics. If you put a high bay fixture in a low bay site, you will have circles of high light and areas of almost no light. A low bay fixture in a high bay site will allow too mach sideways diffusion of light, and not enough will reach the floor.
It depends on the use of the area what kind of candle power per sqft you will need. There is a table in the NEC. Also there are lighting manuals.
Adequate lighting also means periodic cleaning and relamping of fixtures.

Mg3N2 is Magnesium Nitride
PbBr2 is Lead Bromide
BiI3 is Bismuth Iodide
Mono means 1, di means 2, and tri means 3. If you have CO…you say carbon monoxide because there is only one oxygen atom. Mg3N2 would be trimagnesium dinitride because there are 3 magnesium atoms and 2 nitrogen atoms. Remember, you can not use mono on the first element (referring to BiI3 above) unless the element after it has more than 1 atom. BiI3 is monobismuth triodide because bismuth has one atom but iodide has 3 atoms so you have to attach mono- to bismuth otherwise on the quiz you will get the question wrong.

SLI is the term for two nVIDIA graphics cards being used in the same computer.
Crossfire is the term for two ATI grahpics cards being used in the same computer.
Are SLI motherboards Crossfire compatible as well?

Im pretty sure that all you need to do SLI/Crossfire is to have two of the same type of graphics card and (since PCI-Ex16 is the newest available…. I assume you need two of these ports).

You cant get a motherboard to do both SLI/CFX but all boards can use Nvidia or AMD/ATI gpus right now if you want to duel gpu’s ATI is in a really good position right now they have the fastest card 4870×2 so I would get a cheap Intel P45 or X48 motherboard and just get a simple processor that way when the new amazing Intel Core i7 processor comes out you will already have the ATi gpu’s which is the only way to get duel gpu setup then all you will need is the processor, heatsink, and new motherboard
