Either the two round prong or the two flat blade prong (similar to the US) are used in Thailand. Some places will have one or the other, and some places have plugs that accept both. Adaptors are cheap everywhere, buy one of each to be safe.

my laptop is not recognising the memory stick and its adapter . my laptop gives a sound couple of times but no icon is shown on the windows explore or my computer. But the same instument works fine at a desktop @ my work.

just try giving it some time to register the memory stick. If it has, it will say something like ‘Your removable software is now ready for use’, or something like that! If this doesn’t work, u cud try plugging it in to a different usb port
